What size websites do you work on?

We work on sites of all sizes - from single page 'landing' sites to fully integrated e-commerce sites. We have worked on projects for sole-traders right up to enterprise systems for multi-national companies, but the majority of our work tends to sit somewhere in the middle of that scale. Basically we don't limit ourselves to any particular size project, so whatever your requirements, get in touch to see how we can help.

How much will a new website cost?

There is no way of answering this without knowing what sort of site you want. Click here for more guidance on our fees, but ultimately we'll need a bit of information about your project first, before giving you a firm quote. Use our online quote request and we'll get back to you rapidly with a firm costing.

How long will it take to build my site?

On instruction, we generally like to get started straight away, because often timescales are reliant on clients getting back to us with content or approvals. For a standard brochure style site, the average is about three weeks. For an e-commerce site, it might be more like six or seven. More advanced development work could take longer. We will, however, always give you a time estimate up-front, with weekly updates during construction.

How will we update our site once it's online?

There's two answers. If you have a content managed site, you can simply update it yourself whenever you like. If you have a standard brochure site, we will put in place an agreement by which we will provide a certain amount of updates and maintenance for you as part of the quoted fee.

Do you build websites using Flash?

Flash is a web animation tool that, when used properly, can add greatly to the visual appeal of a website. But we never build entire sites in Flash - because of our commitment to web standards, usability and disability discrimination compliance. Flash meets none of the criteria for these things. We may use Flash animations sparingly as part of some designs, but if you want a full Flash website, we can't help.

What areas do you serve, geographically?

Generally, the whole of England - although we do have a couple of clients internationally (France and USA)
